California contractor license bond quote matching (early test)
Need the CSLB $25,000 contractor bond (or BQI / LLC worker bond)? I’m testing whether California contractors want a simple way to be connected with a licensed surety agency. No agency partners are confirmed yet, so I can’t arrange quotes today.
BondQuoteMatch does not sell insurance and is not arranging quotes yet.
What we’re testing
- CSLB focus: the $25k license bond, BQI and LLC worker bonds
- The idea: one short form instead of shopping several sites, with quotes coming from licensed surety agencies
- Status: no agency partners confirmed yet
- No credit checks: this form doesn’t run credit
What happens if you send a request
- You send your details — license or application info and contact
- I read it myself — nothing is forwarded to any agency, because there are no partners yet
- I may reply personally — with free pointers. Replies aren’t guaranteed, and I can’t arrange a quote yet.
Tell me you want this
California contractors. No partner agencies yet, so no quotes are arranged. Your details are not passed to any agency.

- Can you get me a quote now?
- Not yet. There are no confirmed agency partners.
- How much does a CA contractor bond cost?
- Surety companies set premiums based on credit and underwriting, and the premium is usually a small fraction of the $25,000 bond amount. Only a licensed surety agency can quote yours.
- Do you issue the bond?
- No. Licensed surety agencies underwrite, issue and file bonds with the CSLB.
- Where can I check the requirements?
- On the CSLB’s site, cslb.ca.gov.
